Thanks for visiting the site. My name is Anthony Almaraz and I am the worship leader here at the Federal Way Vineyard. I moved up to the Northwest after meeting a friend on a mission’s trip to India after high school. A couple of years later we re-connected and I ended up coming to Federal Way to just “check things out”. I totally fell in love with the Northwest and people at the church. I decided to stay and almost six years later I am still here and met my wife Hannah out here. I grew up hearing about Jesus, mostly because my uncle was a pastor, but my family did not regularly attend church. In high school God truly touched my life through a series of events and I have never been the same. He showed me so clearly that leaving my old life and following him would be the greatest adventure on earth, and it has been. My mom bought me an acoustic guitar and I started learning some worship songs and things just went from there. He put a passion in my heart for worship; it was like being free after being locked away in a dungeon. The deepest desire of my wife and I is that people would know the truth about Jesus. He is not just some good luck charm that people pray to before a football game, or some genie that grants you all your wishes; He is a passionate lover of people and so desperately wants them to know the Father’s love for them.
