Youth Splash

This event happened as our mid September activity and doubled as a graduation celebration and kickoff to what God is bringing our Youth program into. Hosted by the Sweetings, we had alot of fun in the pool and new hot tub and enjoyed some laid back worship along with plenty of excellent eats! John Sweeting stole the show near the end with some hilarious antics on the mic! We discussed our calendar for the new quarter which would include two monthly events along with regular Sunday services. The two events are held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays - the first being a youth activity, i.e., Fright Fest, paintball, etc. and the second a service oriented function, i.e., helping with the homeless feed in Tacoma. This year, Don Wahl has been appointed as the new Youth Leader for the church and the Youth Program is essentially starting a new with a fresh group of growing young men and women, excited about God and involving others in their pursuit of following Jesus in their community and abroad on the mission fields He has for us. We look forward to serving Him and others in our activities, mission events, concerts, and camps in the coming year with a goal to grow as a group both inwardly and outwardly.
