Homeless Feed, Tacoma - Oct 06

Our first service project helping the outreach in Tacoma feeding homeless individuals was a true blessing for our youth. We not only prepared three bags of sandwiches provided by the Sweetings, but handed out 7 large bags of clothes they had stored for winter giveaways. The people we met were so thankful and warmed to share with us. While a band played in the background, we waited and prayed for others and open doors for ministry to whomever the Lord might direct us towards. Afterwards, we enjoyed several games of bowling at Secoma Lanes, getting to know Kimberly our newest youth, who happened to be the only girl that evening but managed to hold her own very well beating all the boys on the first game. Alex won the dinner outing prize for bringing the most friends - Way to Go, Alex! Pizza or Chinese - your choice!
