Our Lord Jesus coming to earth was a history-changing, life-changing event. Had He not come on that night long ago as a babe in the manger, we would not have had the man Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.
Without the reality of Advent, the birth of Jesus Christ, you and I would not have a relationship with God.
With the reality of Advent, we get to experience HOPE, LOVE, JOY and true PEACE. So, let’s take full advantage of Advent season this year.
Each Sunday in Advent we will unpack one of these Advent themes, HOPE, LOVE, JOY and PEACE, answer the questions below, and hear from a family in the church who will share about what the theme means to them. Come and experience Advent with us. Come and discover Christ in new and greater ways this Christmas!
Sunday, Dec. 3 HOPE - Jesus is the HOPE of the world. What do you HOPE for in your life today?
Sunday, Dec. 10 LOVE - How have you been shown love, through your life circumstances?
Sunday, Dec. 17 JOY - What messages of Joy have you seen through this Holiday season?
Sunday, Dec. 24th PEACE - Describe your experience of peace in your day to day life?
Note: There is no Sunday morning service on Dec. 24th. Instead, we will have an evening service at 5pm followed by a church family potluck.
